I’ve spent decades learning how the body works, how birth unfolds, and how deeply the mind, body, and spirit are connected. My approach is not only shaped by years of clinical massage therapy, birth work, wellness education, nervous system regulation, and patient advocacy—but it’s also shaped by listening. Listening to women, listening to their stories, and helping them discover what they truly want for their birth. I bring all of that experience together to offer care that is intuitive, informed, hands-on, and deeply personal.

Not Your Average Doula. And That’s the Point.

CERTIFIED LABOR DOULA • CLINICAL MASSAGE THERAPIST • CERTIFIED PERINATAL PATIENT ADVOCATE • PAIN AND PALLIATIVE CARE SPECIALIST • AROMATOUCH CERTIFIED • SYMPHONY OF THE CELLS CERTIFIED • THE HEART TOUCH METHOD: CERTIFICATE IN COMPASSIONATE AND HEALING TOUCH / ONCOLOGY AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS •

I believe the most powerful voice in the room should be yours. My role isn’t to make decisions for you or speak over your care team—it’s to help you understand your options, ask informed questions, and feel confident using your own voice. As a Perinatal Patient Advocate, I bring education and advocacy into every part of my doula care. During pregnancy, we talk about what matters to you, explore your options, and practice tools like BRAIN so that you and your partner are prepared to navigate decisions together. Because birth can change direction, and feeling prepared to participate in those conversations matters. Whether you’re giving birth at home, in a birth center, or in a hospital, I meet you where you are. I can work alongside your medical team while helping you stay connected to your preferences, your autonomy, and the experience you want to create.

A Calming Presence When You Need It. Your Birth. Your Body. Your Voice.

MORE THAN SUPPORT

personalized approach

As the second oldest of four children, I’ve always been a natural caregiver. My 83-year-old mama has lived with my family for many years and is, in my opinion, the best grandma ever!

I originally wanted to become a physical therapist, but ultimately chose massage school because it was more affordable and required less time. I’ve now worked as a clinical massage therapist at Soledad Canyon Chiro for 27 years, developing an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology through my exposure to chiropractic care.

The wellness industry has always felt like a natural fit for me, which eventually led me to doTERRA. The company’s values align with my personal beliefs, and essential oils, supplements, and other products have become part of the healthy lifestyle I’ve created for my family. In addition to using the products myself, I also share and sell them as another extension of my wellness work.

Caring for Others Has Always Come Naturally.

how it all began

Birth is more than a physical event to get through. It is an experience you will carry with you. Long after the details begin to fade, you may still remember how you felt, how you were treated, whether you trusted yourself, and whether you felt like an active participant in what was happening to your body. That matters to me. I want you to enter birth knowing yourself—not just knowing your birth plan. What helps you feel safe? What makes you shut down? How do you respond when plans change?  These are the conversations that prepare you for more than an ideal version of birth. They prepare you for your birth, however it unfolds.

My care doesn’t end with getting a baby safely into your arms. I want you to come through the experience feeling connected to yourself, connected to your partner, and able to look back knowing that you were an active part of your own story. To me, that is the difference between simply getting through birth and truly being supported through it. That is what I mean by helping you thrive, not just survive.

Helping You Thrive, Not Just Survive.

THE MAPUANA METHOD

Faith | Connection | Autonomy | Growth
Faith Connection Autonomy Growth

Grounded in faith and led by genuine connection, I believe you deserve to feel informed, supported, and free to make the choices that feel right for you.

and a little bit of fun!

my guiding values

From our first conversation, I’m helping you figure out what it is that you really want. I ask questions, listen closely, and get to know you, your partner, and what matters most to you. I’ll share what I know, offer options you may not have considered, and help you prepare for the unexpected—without telling you what your birth should look like. By the time birth arrives, we’ve already built a relationship rooted in trust, understanding, and confidence in your own instincts.
